Can I just start by saying, I think every photographer should get in front of the camera regularly? I really do. As a Southern California Wedding Photographer myself, it doesn’t happen often. However, switching roles is the absolute best way to gain new perspective.

I was excited to get my own pictures professionally taken, but I was not expecting the experience to help me relate to my clients on a different level. If you are anything like me, you might be feeling a whole bag of emotions before your session. It is nerve racking to prepare for a photo shoot and I realized just how essential it is to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible. Valerie did this for us and I couldn’t be happier with how our little session turned out!
